Pepsi Un-Perfect

October 21, 2015, is right around the corner and by now we should have self-tying sneakers, hover boards, flying cars, holographic movies, and Pepsi Perfect.

So where is it all? Well, the Pepsi Perfect is coming. Pepsi has announced they will be releasing 6,500 bottles of Pepsi Perfect on October 21 for a price of $20.15. A little expensive and stupidly limited.

“Fans have always been a little bit crazy about it,” Lou Arbetter PepsiCo’s senior director of marketing told USA Today in an announcement. “We’re fans of this popular trilogy, and just generally, if you work at Pepsi you’re fans of pop culture. The brand has made its mark in pop culture frankly since Michael Jackson moonwalked. We’ve been dancing in and around pop culture for a while, so we took this as another opportunity to have a little bit of fun.”

As a HUGE Pepsi drinker, I am more annoyed and disappointed in Pepsi’s marketing than I am excited about Pepsi Perfect finally arriving. 1,500 of those bottles will be available for FREE to Marty McFly cosplayers attending the New York Comic Con. The rest of bottles will be sold online and Pepsi recommends fans check out the company’s Facebook page closer to the Oct. 21 launch date to know exactly where they can purchase it.

No Pepsi Perfect, no Fallout 4 Pip-boy Edition…well at least I have a trailer for Jaws 19 (the movie playing in Hill Valley in Back to the Future 2)!
